The Events Coordinator works in the Conference Services Department of the University Guest House and Conference Center, developing client relationships and working with conference groups. The House Person position will work at the Thomas S. Monson Center, a convention center in Salt Lake City, under the direction of University Guest House. The House Person is the house cleaner at the University Guest House.

Performs basic porter duties including delivering packages, faxes and mail to guests, assisting guests with transporting and storing luggage, escorting guests to their rooms as needed, and driving shuttles to various locations in the Stanford community. The ability to obtain and retain a California non-commercial driver’s license and the ability to drive guests locally in a non-commercial vehicle day and night. Perform day-to-day hotel functions such as booking, checking in, and checking out guests. Answer multiple phone lines in busy and distracting environments; collect or transmit messages to guests and staff as needed.
It is the operator’s responsibility to ensure efficient communication within, to and from the Graceland Guest House while maintaining attentive, courteous and efficient customer service. Full-time resident hoteliers must offer exquisite service with a deep commitment to hospitality and be subordinate to the non-resident owner.
